Vastu Shastra
Everything that exists in the universe, including our bodies, is made of five elements. These five elements are earth (geomagnetic energy), water (gravitational energy), fire (solar energy), air(wind energy) and space(cosmic radiation). These forces have a powerful influence on us, as well as the environment. Vastu is the science arranging our man made environments so that we are in alignment with these forces of nature. If we are not aligned with solar and geomagnetic forces we may experience illness, misfortune and struggle. It as if we attempting to swim against the current of a river.
How does Vastu Shastra help us?
Nature consists of five basic elements. You own body is made up of these elements: (1) air (You breath air) (2) fire (Your body temperature) (3) water (4) earth (Your body’s minerals) (5) and most importantly Cosmic energy (energy of planets). When we synchronize our place of business and residence with nature’s energies, our personal location becomes a dynamic location, in order for nature to release positive energy to benefit us. Otherwise, those energies fight within each other thus creating an astronomical amount of static and tension in your place of business of home.
Directions have very much significance in the construction of a building. The four directions have their own importance. Where as the corners formed by the concurrence of two directions are much more important because effects of both the directions can be felt at the corners. The gods governing these directions are noted below:-

These gods govern the directions and control the various areas as given above. For successful implementation of any plan, the concerned god is worshipped; Room or Space in a particular direction should be used for a purpose suitable to the nature of the god and the material he control in that area. That is how to avoid defects of Vaastu. The god controlling the area in the house is worshipped and offers made to please him, requesting for his blessings and peaceful happy life.
